Rainbow River Springs

Rainbow River is located in Dunnellon, Florida about 100 miles north of Orlando. It is one of the biggest springs in Florida for the water volume discharged. Rainbow Springs State Park is over 1,400 acres and is a first-magnitude headspring basin. It produces between 400 - 600 million gallons of water each day. Many other smaller springs discharge from caves and sand boils the entire river length. The Rainbow River is around 6 miles long and merges with the Withlacoochee River. You can swim, snorkel, canoe, or kayak on the river. There are plenty of walking paths as well.
