Salt Springs

Salt Springs is located in the Ocala National Forest and is one of Ocala's best springs. It brings forth 52 million gallons of water each day making it also one of the biggest springs for volume of water. The water temperature stays at 74 degrees all year long and many people visit this spring. It gets its name from the minerals in the water making the water taste a little salty but nothing like the ocean. There are plenty of picnic tables, grills, and walking areas.
