Suwannee River
The Suwannee River runs from Fargo, Georgia, and flows southwestward into the Florida Panhandle. From there, it drops in elevation, creating whitewater rapids. The Suwannee then turns west at White Springs, Florida, and connects with the Alapaha River and Withlacoochee River. From Hamilton County, the Suwannee turns south to join the Santa Fe River and drains into the Gulf of Mexico on the outskirts of Suwannee.
