Warm Mineral Springs
The Warm Mineral Springs was formed by a sinkhole 30,000 years ago, say scientists. It is 230 feet deep and around 230 feet across. There are many freshwater springs in the walls of the sinkhole but the primary source is a vent 200 feet below and pushes out around 20 million gallons of warm water daily. Most Florida Springs stay at around 72 degrees all year round, but the Warm Mineral Springs stay around 86 degrees.
